Weekly Small Share Box

Depending on what is being harvested throughout the season your box will always include greens and roots and herbs.  We will be growing the following this season:

Greens

Arugula, Bibb Lettuce, Red Romaine Lettuce,  Spring Mix, Red and White Russian Kale, Dazzling Blue Kale (lacinato type), Black Magic/Lacinato Kale (dinosaur) , Green Spinach, Red Spinach,  Red and Yellow Swiss Chard, Tatsoi

Hakurei Turnips, Pink Beauty Radishes, French Breakfast Radishes, Daikon Radishes, White Onions, Red Onions, Yellow Onions, Red Beets, Golden Beets, Carrots

Other

Royal Burgundy Beans, Cucumbers, Heirloom Tomatoes

Herbs

Basil, Chives, Cilantro, Dill, Parsley and Sage

C.S.A. Agreement

As a C.S.A. Member you agree to the following: 

Tsedah Farms actively farms to insure that you receive the highest quality vegetables in your weekly oi-weekly share. Respecting our commitment to you as our customer, you agree to the following:

• ​I assume the responsibility to pick up my share box at the pick-up point, on the designated day, during the designated time frame.

• If for any reason, I am unable to pick up, I may arrange pick up with a friend or neighbor. If no one picks up I understand my share will be donated to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry

• I understand that my share is produced at the expense of Tsedah Farms whether I am on vacation or other circumstances arise.

• I understand that if I am having my produce delivered to my residence that I will leave out a cooler in a safe and easily-noticed location (preferably in a shady spot).  If I will not be home, I have the option of contacting Tsedah Farms to donate my box that week, Tsedah Farms will then add a few extras in your next scheduled delivery to try to make up for the missed week.  Of course, I can always arrange for a neighbor or friend to pick up my box from my cooler. 

• I understand my share is based on a growing season.

• I understand that the shares may vary in content and quantity of items from week to week and will receive produce that is in season. There is a large variety each week, the produce will change throughout the growing season. Tsedah Farms will always try to be as generous as possible.

• I understand that as a C.S.A. member, I am committing to pay for the entire season of weeks that I am purchasing.  If for any reason I am not able to continue as a member, I agree to find a replacement or I am still responsible for the remaining weeks of the season. My agreement to be part of the share box helps cover the seasonal costs of labor, seed, equipment, insurance, etc. to develop our farm to be a long-lasting farm for the community.

We send a weekly email prior to distribution as to what the share contents are likely to be; however, contents are always subject to change.  

YOUR COMMITMENT ASSURES YOUR WONDERFUL GREENS/ROOTS/HERBS WILL BE SET ASIDE FOR YOU EACH WEEK!  WHAT A YUMMY SUMMER AHEAD!

We will not be able to issue refunds.
